The average temp is around 10 to 22 degrees during summers and snowfall is there in winters (December till end of January) Light woolens are required during summers. There are a number of places of tourist interest nearby (Gagar Mahadev Temple, Mukteshwar temple, Chauli ki Jaali, IVRI, Ghorakhal tea estates, Saattal, Adventure activities / Paragliding / Kayaking at Mukteshwar, Naukuchiatal, Bhimtal and Saattal,Kainchi Dham & Jageshwar Mahadev Jyotirlinga

This relatively undiscovered but increasingly popular destination is often termed as the fruit basket of the picturesque Uttarakhand state because of its sprawling peach, plum, apricot, apple & pear orchards. The beauty of Ramgarh and its surrounding majestic mountains, Pristine Oak & Rhododendron forests, crisp cool air and vast clear skies attracted several industrial & royal houses to set up their estates here in the last century. The peace & tranquility of this place inspired the likes of Rabindranath Tagore who penned parts of his famous Gitanjali here.

Ramgarh is a remote destination but it is well connected by motorable roads with major
destinations of Kumaon and cities of northern India. Buses are easily available from ISBT Anand Vihar,New Delhi to Haldwani, Nainital, and Almora. Taxis are also available from major cities of the Kumaon region and Garhwal region to Ramgarh.

Air

Pantnagar airport is the nearest airport, which is located about 76kms from Ramgarh. Taxis are easily available from the airport to Ramgarh. Pantnagar is connected to Delhi with four round trips flight in a week. Pant Nagar Airport is well connected by metalled road with Ramgarh.

Kathgodam Railway station is the nearest railhead to Ramgarh situated at a distance of 45kms. Kathgodam is well connected by major cities of India like Lucknow, Kolkata, Delhi, etc. There are two trains that run daily between Delhi to Kathgodam and vice-versa. Trains are frequent to Kathgodam as it is the gateway of Kumaon region. Taxis and buses are easily available from Kathgodam to Ramgarh.
